I cannot explain my excitement as we have started the school year. I have huge plans for an elementary art exhibit for the Spring, 2006. All students will be represented in the Art Show.
I will need your help for a successful show! I realize that it is early planning, but I will need many volunteers. As the date draws closer, I will send additional information to each of you. Please feel free to check here for updates throughout the school year.
The ART SHOW 2006 will be held at the W. R. Croman Elementary School. Mark your calendars for May 11th. Work from all three schools will be displayed in the showcases, hallways and gymnasium. I plan to have most of the exhibit up for a few days before and after the show, but I would appreciate as much support as possible on the evening of the exhibit.
Snacks will be available at the art show. I would appreciate some snack donations and volunteers for light physical labor before and after the exhibit.
If you would please consider helping out, I would really appreciate it. If you are not sure you can help, but would think about it, fill this form out as well. I am counting on parents, teachers, family and friends to help make this a huge success!
This is my first student show and I anticipate many to follow. I look forward to showing off the hard work our children exhibit every day! Please understand that I will keep several projects throughout the year as I consider which will be displayed in the show. All work will be returned to the students following the show!
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to inspire some imagination!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lucy Chamberlain
