The facilitators of ALPS, Adventure Learning and Programming for Success, would like to offer you this opportunity to schedule a team building session for Educators, Administrators, Support Staff, or Students in your district. Depending upon the population we would be working with, we will develop a program to meet your needs.

The ALPS process supports the concept that learning and understanding take place when people engage in and reflect upon experiences in stimulating and challenging environments. These environments allow them to make choices, take responsible actions, acquire new skills, and work with others. Our goal would be to create situations where those involved will learn to share, to empathize with others, to be concerned with other peoples feelings and to improve relationships.

ALPS provides an excellent vehicle for participants to take part in cooperative games and activities at all levels. Such activities stress inclusion rather than exclusion. They focus on abilities rather than disabilities or deficiencies. The activities also tend to lessen the fear of failure and promote participant problem solving.
