Farm Equipment and Supplies

Equipment There was a display of model tractors and a few actual machines.

Tractors There is a display of many tractors at the Heritage Museum. Another piece of equipment I saw was a grain drill. It was pulled by horses to plant crops.

Farm Tools I saw a hay hook. It looks like a hook mounted on a little handle which is wooden. I saw a corn knife that people used years ago for harvesting corn.

Equipment Some of the equipment that farmers use today really started a long time ago.

Farm Tools / Weapons I saw a sickle at the Heritage Museum. It is a blade with a handle used to cut things like grass. Many people long ago had to cut their whole field with this device. .
