About Ms. Olson

Did you know?      

     The 2006-2007 school year marks the beginning of Ms. Olson’s 21st year of teaching at Troy High School.  She came to Troy after teaching for 9 years at Greenville High School in Greenville, PA.  She also taught for one year in Holywood, Northern Ireland.  Ms. Olson graduated from Grove City College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. 

       At Troy High School, Ms. Olson currently teaches Geometry and Precalculus (formally Trigonometry).  In the past she has also taught Algebra I and II.  Ms. Olson also serves as the ski club advisor.

       Ms. Olson strongly believes that everyone should learn as much math as possible to be successful in today’s world.  She also believes every student can learn math.  Some just need more help and support than others.
