Essay Wizard

The essay wizard template was designed to help students create a standard 5-paragraph essay.  Once you have brainstormed ideas for an essay topic, use this essay wizard template to prepare a rough draft of an essay.  Follow these simple instructions:

1.  Right-click on the EssayWizard link above and "Save As" to "My Documents" your computer. 

2.  Read and follow the instructions to complete the essay wizard.

3.  After you have supplied all of the sentences for each paragraph of the wizard, click on "Send to MS Word" at the bottom.

4.  The wizard sends your essay rough draft to MS Word and formats it for an acceptable essay style (i.e. double-spacing, tab indents, etc.).

5.  Use this as a rough draft.  You are responsible for polishing this rough draft before printing the final copy.  Check for focus, content, organization, style, and conventions before printing the final copy.
